Terms of Use

1. About this document
This is an agreement between you and Antonina Tsurankova, an individual based in Ukraine (“we”), on the use of the TODOFISHING app (the “App”).
By installing and using the App, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the App.
How we handle your data is described in a separate document — the Privacy Policy.
2. Who may use the App
The App is intended for persons over 16 years of age.
An account is required. Sign-in is via Google or Apple. One account per person. Creating additional accounts to bypass limits or influence leaderboards is prohibited.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
3. What is and is not allowed
The App is about real fishing. Accordingly:
Prohibited:
- passing off other people’s photos as your catch, photographing a picture on a screen, using images from the internet, or adding catches that did not happen in any other way;
- misrepresenting the circumstances of a catch to get more points or achievements;
- using automated tools, emulators, a modified version of the App, or accessing our server bypassing the App;
- posting unlawful content: pornography, images of cruelty, hate symbols, insults and harassment, other people’s personal data;
- posting advertising and links in comments (links in comments are removed automatically);
- filing knowingly false reports against other users.
Zero tolerance. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. Every catch and every profile has “Report” and “Block” buttons. We review reports manually within 24 hours: content that violates these terms is removed, and the violator is blocked, up to deletion of the account. A blocked user can no longer see your posts or interact with you.
About fishing specifically. The App does not replace knowledge of the rules: complying with fishing bans, spawning seasons, species and size limits, and holding the necessary permits is entirely your responsibility. Points awarded by the App for a catch do not mean that the catch is legal.
Your content remains yours. You own the rights to your photos and texts. By publishing them, you give us permission to store and display them in the App — without this the App cannot work. This permission is free of charge and is valid for as long as the content remains in the App.
4. Points, leaderboards and achievements
Points are awarded automatically based on the identified fish species and its estimated weight. Species and weight are determined automatically and may be wrong — this is an estimate from a photo, not a measurement.
All calculations are performed on our server. The final values of points, leaderboards and achievements are determined by us.
There are two kinds of achievements: permanent (earned once and kept forever) and contestable — such as “biggest fish on the water body” — which pass to another user if they show a better result.
Points, achievements and leaderboard positions are not property, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to others.
If these terms are violated, we may cancel points and achievements obtained in violation, hide a post, exclude the account from leaderboards or block it. For serious or repeated violations, the account is blocked without warning.

5. Usage limits
To keep the App working and affordable to run, the following limits apply:
- a limit on the number of recognitions per day — the same for everyone, including subscribers;
- a limit on the number of catches per day that count toward points and the leaderboard — for users without a subscription. The journal keeps every catch without exception; the limit applies only to awarding points;
- temporary suspension in case of clearly unnatural load.
The specific values are shown in the App and may change. If they change to your disadvantage, we will notify you in advance.
6. Paid subscription
Some features are available with a subscription.
Payment. The subscription is purchased and paid for through the App Store or Google Play, not directly to us. Payment is charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment for the new period is charged within 24 hours before the end of the previous one.
How to turn it off. Auto-renewal is turned off in your App Store or Google Play account settings. We cannot do this for you and have no access to your payment data.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. We do not process refunds. Please contact the support of the respective store.
Price. The current price is shown in the App on the subscription screen. If the price changes, an active subscription renews at the new price only after your consent, in the manner provided by the app store.
What happens when the subscription ends. Your data is fully kept. Only the paid features stop: the number of catches per day that count toward points is limited again, and the trophy showcase and public statistics return to the free limits. Points and achievements earned earlier are not cancelled.
Trial periods and promotions, if offered, apply on the terms shown at the time of purchase. Any unused portion of a trial period is forfeited when a paid subscription is purchased.
7. Termination
You can delete your account in the App at any time: “You” → “Settings” → “Delete account”. Deletion is irreversible and removes all your data.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription automatically — it must be cancelled separately in the App Store or Google Play, otherwise charges will continue.
We may terminate access if these terms are violated, and also if the App is discontinued. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before discontinuing the App.
8. Liability
The App is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running without interruptions, but do not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free operation.
We are not responsible for:
- errors in automatic identification of fish species and weight;
- your actions while fishing and their consequences, including harm to health and property;
- your violation of fishing regulations;
- content posted by other users;
- outages of third-party services the App depends on.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects consumer rights provided by the laws of your country.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the App at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the App after the changes take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, delete your account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. This does not deprive you of consumer rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.
